Kazue Drury APFS, Chartered Financial Planner


BA at Rikkyo University Tokyo Japan. Kazue Drury advised institutional investors on financial products for major investment banks such as Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan for over 15 years. She was the Head of sales of the fixed income sales department at ING Bank Tokyo. She then became an IFA in 2003 and is now affiliated with Lighthouse group, which is one of the the largest autonomous IFA networks in the UK.She is the only Japanese UK accredited CFP, and can explain financial products and services in both English and Japanese. She has comprehensive knowledge of financial products and services, and taxation, in both the UK and Japan. When providing employee benefits advice to Japanese corporations, her dual-language inter-operability assists greatly in communicating with both Japanese senior management staff and English HR managers. Her employee benefits service, which includes presentations to employees and sometimes individual consultations with them, has been much appreciated by many corporate clients.

Marc A. Faltheim

Having grown up as well as worked in a multinational environment, Marc Faltheim's career has been spent devising, executing and delivering solutions to senior executives at companies located in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East. He has worked for a number of well known financial institutions (Nordbanken, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Calyon bank and BNP Paribas) in Stockholm, London and Paris. During his banking career, he specialised working with structured debt products (credit analysis, syndicated/leverage loans, project and export/trade finance, aircraft/equipment lease financing) and fixed income products (equity/debt advisory, ratings advisory, high yield bond/private placement origination and placement).

Marc has thereafter repositioned his career to offer corporate strategy advisory services to companies at board of director/management levels. The work he performs can, but does not always include, an element of financing (cross-border M&A advisory and J/V advisory – including equity and debt funding when appropriate). Most of the work assignments he conducts are cross-border strategy formulation and implementation work. He obtained a BA in Political Science at Richmond University, Surrey U.K., has completed post-graduate courses at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland and speaks five languages fluently.


Charles Nishikawa MBA


Charles Nishikawa joined Nippon Seiko KK (NSK - the world’s second-largest bearing manufacturer) after graduating from Keio University (Tokyo, Japan). After fulfilling senior business development positions in the automotive, electronics, and B2B e-commerce industry, he set up a successful management consulting business in 2005. Based on eighteen years business development experience in Europe, he specialised in start-up support, business planning and execution, applying his trade-mark “hands-on” approach. He is also a certified affiliate of Auditel Consulting Group, one of the largest cost and purchase management consultancies in the UK, providing services to more than 2,000 companies such as YMCA, Pizza Express and Japan Airlines. He received an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird, School of Global Management (Phoenix, USA).

Junichi Yasutaka


Junichi Yasutaka has run his own consultancy company; Global Link Consultants Ltd in the United Kingdom since 2006 to provide Human Resources strategy management and inter-cultural people development services to mixed Japan-European organizations. He was born and educated in Japan. He is a graduate of Tokyo University of Foreign Studies with 34 years’ work experience (17 in Japan, 17 in the UK).

 He has worked for Nippon Seiko KK (NSK) and Mitsubishi Motors Corp (both Japanese), Arthur Andersen UK (Anglo-American), Atlas Copco Japan (Swedish) and DaimlerChrysler Japan (German-American). He resigned as Director of HR and Administration at DaimlerChrysler Japan in 2005 and moved to the UK.

Dipayan Roy

Dipayan has worked extensively with Japanese companies as a consultant and has spent many years with Sony Corporation establishing its HR function in India and thereafter being accountable for HR at two of its European businesses. He speaks English, French, Hindi and Bengali.

He also leads his own consulting practice and has worked extensively across UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, South and East Asia as a Management Consultant to private sector, charity and public sector clients. Dipayan combines his inter cultural understanding and international experience across emerging and developed markets with his functional expertise to provide practical results oriented insightful solutions to his clients. He is an Associate at Penna plc and a Trainer at the European Association of Communication Agencies.
